Negotiation and Contracts in Real Estate

Thinking of buying or selling real estate? If your answer is “yes”, what information should you have before you start negotiating? What questions should you ask? Is price always the most important factor? How do you negotiate for a “win-win” sale? Why is “win-win” important? What are the typical mistakes made by a seller? What are the typical mistakes made by a buyer?

Money, money, money…If you are a buyer, how much of a down payment is necessary? In addition to the down payment, how much money is necessary to purchase a property? If you are the seller, should you care about the buyer’s down payment? What are the buyer’s closing costs? What are the seller’s closing costs? As you progress though the sale, how many contracts will you be signing? And, what do they mean? When you hear the word, “contingency”, what does it mean? (If you don’t know what contingency means, YOU REALLY NEED THIS CLASS!) What if you sign a contract and change your mind? At what point can you be released from your obligation to buy or sell?

This workshop is “a practice real estate sale!” It is geared for questions and answers as you progress through sale.
