About Marilyn Cohn
You already know Marilyn Cohn is one of the South
Bay's most popular and beloved golf teachers. But what you might not know
is that she is also a successful real estate professional.
Marilyn Cohn, PhD, CCIM Seniors Real Estate Specialist, has been helping
Buyers and Sellers achieve their real estate goals since 1980. She is
currently affiliated with RE/MAX Palos Verdes Realty, and is active in the South Bay real estate market. Her
numerous transactions include buying and selling investment properties,
as well as estate homes in Palos Verdes and single-family residence and
condominiums in surrounding areas.
Marilyn considers real estate one of the most
exciting and dynamic businesses. So, it is no surprise that she delved
into it with the same passion and commitment that she is known for on
the golf course. In 1984, she earned her broker's license; in 1985 she
began teaching real estate classes at Los Angeles Harbor College; in
1988 she published an investment book, Everything You Ever Wanted to
Know About Real Estate Investment, BUT Didn't Know What to Ask!; in
1989 she began teaching investment analysis workshops to licensed
real estate professionals. She recently revised the investment book and
currently offers investment classes to the public through Los Angeles
Harbor Extension School.
There's no doubt Marilyn’s credentials and
experience make her an excellent real estate professional. But what
really sets her apart from her colleagues is the philosophy and attitude
she carries towards her clients and the business. As she states:
